Hello
The boil might be due to infection
It’s better if you get an x-ray post treatment and preferably go for re-treatment or tooth extraction if necessary

The appearance of a boil after a root canal could indicate a persistent infection. It's important to consult with your dentist or endodontist as soon as possible. They will need to evaluate the area, possibly with X-rays, to determine the cause. Further treatment, such as antibiotics or further root canal therapy, may be necessary to resolve the infection. Please avoid self-treating and seek professional dental advice promptly.
