Blood pressure
Since 2 months most of the time my blood pressure ranges between 130-140 systolic and 90-100 dystolic... Sometimes it shows 130-88,125-82, Doctor prescribed me met xl 12.5 Should i start bp medication? Is  blood pressure range around 140/100 too high? What should i do??.. Kindly suggest Is that range i mentioned too high and dangerous?

Since your age is less. Take less salt intake. Exercise regularly, lose weight if you are overweight. Regularly monitor your blood pressure at home. And if above measure fails then you can start with medications. If you have already done the above measures and still not able to control your blood pressure then you have to start medication. But prior blood and other work up is required.

Blood pressure 140/100 for a 34 years old person certainly needs treatment. It is not a question of some BP range being too high or too dangerous. The point is that when it comes to look after heart health , we should try and control all risk factors. And high BP is one such risk factor.
