I have developed irritation from nose to back of throat for the last 2-3 days. Although I have not yet consumed any medicine, I am repeatedly taking steam inhalation with karvol plus 2-3 times a day, and some saline nasal spray if needed. Today, after taking steam, I saw a good amount of phlegm smoothly came into my mouth from the back of the nasal canal. When I spat it in the wash basin, I found it had blood stains. However I didn't find fresh blood inside my nose or mouth. Do I need to be cautious of it? Or shall I continue with taking steam, as my condition has not aggravated in the last 2-3 days and gradually feeling better.
Regards.
