Blood in Eyes
My mother suddenly got blood in her eyes. She had no idea regarding the same until my father saw blood in her eyes. I am attaching the photo. Kindly check and suggest the possible reasons for the same and what could be the next step.

It's subconjunctival hemorrhage of left eye . Forceful coughing and sneezing may have caused it .Among the elderly, systemic vascular diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and arteriosclerosis are few of the factors associated with. She could use eye drops, such as artificial tears, to soothe any scratchy feeling. Beyond that, the blood will absorb within about 1 to 2 weeks,  need no further treatment.

This is sunconjunctival hemorrhage.it is harmless and usually will resolve on its own. If she is not on any medication,check her blood pressure.if ok nothing needs to be done.
