Hi
Considering your symptoms, you have
1. Urine infection - increase frequency, urgent to pee
2. Chronic constipation
3. Possible Early diabetes - considering your age and urine frequency, weight loss over past few months
To diagnose properly and manage need further details as well as certain tests
Get CBC, FBS, PPBS, HbA1c, RFT, urine routine and culture and review with reports.
Next Steps
feel free to consult me on practo for further evaluation and management
Bloating and constipation alone I would treat simply - but at 50, loss of appetite plus unintentional weight loss changes the picture. That combination needs evaluation before any medicine, to rule out anaemia, thyroid problems, diabetes, and a colon or ovarian cause. Do not settle for fibre and laxatives only.
Next Steps
Please get CBC, ESR, thyroid profile, fasting sugar/HbA1c, urine routine, stool occult blood and an ultrasound abdomen-pelvis done, and see a physician with the reports. Meanwhile: 25-30 g fibre, 2.5-3 litres water, isabgol at bedtime, and walk after meals. If you see blood in stool, vomiting, or the weight keeps falling, get a colonoscopy opinion without delay. You can consult me on Practo or at Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Miraj.
