A regular oral prophylaxis is indicated in your case followed by Parodontax tooth paste, Chlorhexidine mouth rinse and a Stolin gum paint.
In case the situation doesn't improve after an observation period of 2-3 week's, you can go for a laser gum surgery.
Hello, u need proper scaling followed by a course of antibiotics . For this u hv to visit nearby dentist and get it done ..ur concerns abt cancer are genuine as u are a chronic smoker . For this u can consult me on my personal chat as I'm an Oral medicine and radiologist and we deal all such cases to rule out whether their is any changes in ur oral mucosa and if present then treat it accordingly.
Dear practo user
First remove the idea of oral cancer, consult a dentist for cleaning. Apply Stolin gum paint thrice daily and wash with warm salt water after half an hour
Bleeding gums could be due tartar and plaque which leads to inflammation in the area .
I would suggest visiting your dentist for a suggestion of oral prophylaxis.
Yes smoking is a important cause for bleeding gums, but need not have to wrry tat u have cancer. This usually occurs due to a condition called gingivitis. Scaling with proper mouth wash Wil cure your problem
