Pigmentation of gums is caused by keratin deposition over the gums to protect the gums from cigarette smoke. This can even happen in people eating very spicy food.
Depigmentation is the best treatment for removing the black marks on your gums. You can opt for laser depigmentation which is very effective compared to surgical depigmentation.
Hello Maam !. You may have natural Blackening of gums due to Melanin Pigmentation. Even so please consult a Dentist about Laser Treatment for removal of Pigmentation.
Ofcourse as a Dentist i must say to stop the Smoking Habit or atleast Reduce it. Goodluck and Godbless :)
Hi
Blackening of gums is not entirely because of smoking. It is also due to melanin , a pigment in human body.
You need to see a periodontist for depegmentation of gums, but it's a reversible procedure

Hi
Black gums and the pigmentation can be lightened with a simple procedure
Once the procedure is done we can observe the effect and then go for subsequent sittings.
