Pigmentation of gums is caused by keratin deposition over the gums to protect the gums from cigarette smoke. This can even happen in people eating very spicy food. Depigmentation is the best treatment for removing the black marks on your gums. You can opt for laser depigmentation which is very effective compared to surgical depigmentation.
Health Tips
The best way to prevent this is to stop smoking.

Hi Blackening of gums is not entirely because of smoking. It is also due to melanin , a pigment in human body. You need to see a periodontist for depegmentation of gums, but it's a reversible procedure Regards
