HELLO, Its always good to eat light at night including veggies and some protein like dal or legumes or paneer with minimum carbs. Do not skip the dinner or just finish it with fruits it doesnt help. Do not eat heavy foods like cream based, junk food, deep fried.

If this question pertains to dinner time, you can have light dals, vegetable preparation like lauki, pumpkin along with salad and roti or rice. As for dairy products, something like curd should be taken as per your suitability. If you get any symptoms, don't take it.
Health Tips
Eat things that suit you. Avoid anything that causes digestive issues.

Hi There is no rule as such that one food you should be eaten in day and 1 food to be eaten in night. Every food has their own health benefits and can be eaten in the morning or night. But it's just that you should maintain a good gap between your dinner and your sleep. A minimum 3 hours gap should be maintained. Disclaimer :- Tip may vary if u suffering from any other medical issue
