Calorie deficit and high protein diet is not advisable for general healthy individual. Specific types of diet are recommended only in special conditions. Too much intake of protein would stress your kidneys. So it is advisable if you want loose weight go for healthy weight loss. Don't follow fad diets because you can not sustain it in a long run or you might be land-up with some other health issues. Carbohydrates are equally important so don't underestimate it's role, it's the main nutrient from which our body gets energy.

Hi High protein diet is not advised unless and until there's a medical requirement... or any medical condition associated.. otherwise moderate protein intake is enough to meet daily protein requirement of the body.. You can include complex carbs ( Low GI foods)  in your diet like whole cereal grains, whole pulses, legumes, beans etc.. Donot completely avoid or stop carbohydrates .. A minimum intake of carbs not less than 100gm and not more than 300 gm in a day.as per RDA..is advise..as we want little energy from carbs alone and not only from protein.. ( Protein sparing action).. For further details contact through practo for a detailed diet session on your eating patterns, lifestyle, any medical history or reports relating if any .. Thankyou

Best way to lose weight is through a combination of diet and exercise (70+30) that ways calorie deficit can be managed more easily and you won’t have to just focus on the diet. The type of food choice one makes is also very important besides taking care of the calories ...most important point is to drink lots of water and stay hydrated that can kill hunger more !
