Deffinately u shud go for physiotherapy to reduce pain and strengthen your muscles. At the same time u can do Ayurveda To Help you correct your problem in a long run.
Next Steps
meet a physiotherapist who can show you initial isometric exercises and can give you pain relieving modalities. nerve mobilization will also help if u have radiating pain in leg.
Health Tips
no heavy weight lifting,  no forward bending,  no excessive desk job,  avoid prolonged standing and sitting,  rest as much in initial days to reduce the pain.
