Diastasis Recti can surely improve with graded exercise program for core and pelvic floor muscles. Abdominal brace will give some relief for pain.. Since you have little baby you will not be able to visit physio personally even after lock down get over.. Hence the best advise is do video consultation and learn the exercises properly.. You have another 3 months as your child will start crawling you will have to do lots of running arround kid.. Before that consult with physio online start exercises..

Hi,
Exercise will definitely help. But it would be better to have it checked by gynaecologist or ob gy physio.
Exercise can further increase separation if done wrong.
Take heat pack for back pain.
Exercise will definitely help you but prior to that you need to consult a Gynaecologist to know your sutures are intact in abdomen.
Next Steps
You should lie on sides to avoid back pain.
You can lie on your back but use a pillow underneath your knees.
Turn to one side while getting up from the bed.
Avoid bending activities.
Health Tips
Once you consult your Gynaecologist and once it is confirmed that your abdomen is fine you start doing back strengthening exercises with proper guidance.
For further evaluation and treatment consult a Physiotherapist in person or through video call.
According to me you must start with walking for 15-20 min daily. You can start with some basic exercises for lower limb like ankle toe movements, static quadriceps, static hamstring ,bridging exercises. The pain should relieve slowly and gradually .Then you can do graduated exercise program.
Deep breathing exercises like diaphragmatic breathing exercise.
Yes, exercises can help
What was your previous activity level?
Also, do check with gynecologist if you are allowed to do exercises
You will have to follow the right way.
Weak core muscles can cause back pain
Core exercises will be very helpful for you. Also do back strengthening exercises. After lockdown. Do visit to nearest physiotherapy clinic take proper advice.
Next Steps
proper treatment and diagnosis only give you best results
Health Tips
please continue doing exercises for that time.apply ice for back pain it will help you.
Back pain can be because of poor posture while sitting, standing or lying in bed. Try to avoid doing too much bending activities. Whenever you will get up from the lying position (sleeping position) take a side turn and then get up. Both the problems are related to each other. So do abdominal (stomach/ abs) exercises as this will strengthen your core.
Next Steps
Support your lower back when sitting with a towel or pillow placed behind you.
Health Tips
Avoid any heavy lifting or further straining of your abdominal muscles.
