Best treatment for vitiligo as per ayurveda is Baakuchi tailam for local application. Along with that take good sun bath whenever possible for 10 minutes. (apply sunscreen to the unaffected area.)

Yes it can be taken....and for if there is only white patches on skin and not any other infection then you can apply fresh alovera mix with coconut oil and apply at that area in few days your skin colour start change.
