Dear Sir
The is nothing wrong in consulting a psychiatrist. Please don't feel scared. A psychiatrist will listen to your problems and suggests ways to help you. What you are suffering from seems like an anxiety disorder but it can be confirmed only after an assessment. Treatment of anxiety consists of medications, psychological therapy and relaxation techniques.
I am sure with right treatment and support you will be able to get out of this problem.
