Anxiety and Depression
I have been having anxiety for a long time now. I also overthink alot which then results in anxiety. Sometimes I even talk to myself, infact I talk to myself often these days and I feel very lonely all the time, even when I am around people. Is there a need for me to consult a psychiatrist/psychologist?

Hi when you say anxiety would do you mean please elaborate. I am sure there are some things at the back of your mind that seem to be bothering you. I would suggest visit to a Psychologist who can help in teaching you some relaxation exercises, can work on activity scheduling and can also help in working on your thoughts. Along with this if symptoms are very severe you may also need to consult a psychiatrist. But for the exact accurate decision, I will definitely a detailed case history.
Next Steps
One thing you need to understand is that it seems to be a temporary phase which will settle if you take proper treatment.

It would be better,  yes , if you consult  a Psychologist and understand  the reason behind this anxiety. Once you come to know the trigger of it, you might probably handle it better than before.
