I was suddenly put from clonotril 0.5 to clonazepam 0.25. experiencing bad morning anxiety and my vitamin b12 levels gotten low
My original psychiatrist is not available for a month and i feel these are withdrawal symptoms cause I was absolutely fine before taking 0.25.
A sudden reduction in clonazepam may contribute to rebound anxiety or withdrawal symptoms, depending on the previous dose and duration of use. However, morning anxiety can have other causes, and low vitamin B12 may also affect well-being. Please consult a psychiatrist promptly to review the medication change. Avoid adjusting or stopping the medication on your own. CBT techniques can help manage the anxiety alongside appropriate medical guidance.

Changing clonazepam from 0.5mg to 0.25mg is not a huge change to cause so much anxiety. However, you might feel so because of psychological dependence. You must understand that it will get relieved. Even if it doesn't you can continue 0.5mg for now maybe after a few days can again try to taper the dose.
