Hello,
This test is to find which antibiotic will be effective for the particular bacteria. All bacteria wont respond to the same antibiotic. So to make the antibiotic more effective we get this test done

The particular bacteria which is causing problems can be identified and treated with very good antibiotics
Then you won't get the same problem ( mostly)
If you are taking without this test, you may end up in repeated infection by the same bacteria
