Ankle Sprain
I got my right ankle twisted. There is not much pain and I could walk with slight limp. But there is observable swelling. I'm icing it and using crepe bandage. I can't find a slot for booking tomorrow, if it looks serious I can try offline. What do you suggest?

Ligament sprain or fracture will be decided on x-rays. Treatment includes pop slab application for 5 days then a walking synthetic cast for 4-6 weeks.
Next Steps
Your history suggests high energy trauma. Try applying Ice packs. Keep affected limb elevated. Medications like Enzomac will help in swelling.
Health Tips
Persistent pain and swelling can be due to either fracture or ligament sprains. Do not walk over injured limb.

• Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment where a limb or the entire body is immersed in warm water followed by the immediate immersion of the limb or body in ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.
