Dear human, thank you for sharing and reaching out. It is completely understandable that your overthinking is causing stress and irritation, which is taking a toll on you. It must have been difficult for you to handle this and I appreciate your effort to reach out for help. Overthinking is quite common and it could be because of many reasons like anxiety, fear, self-doubts, traumatic events, stress itself, etc. Few techniques that might be of help: 1.Keep a journal handy and put the thoughts down as is, whenever she is in the midst of such thoughts. 2. Try identifying the triggers for your overthinking because awareness of these triggers or warning signs helps in consciously reducing them and also avoiding those triggers or distracting from them. 3. 5-4-3-2-1 exercise - Whenever you feel like you’re getting into the spiral of overthinking or you feel stressed out, take few slow and deep breaths and name five things in your environment that you can see, four things that you can hear, three things that you can touch, two things that you can smell and one thing you can taste. 4. Try focusing on your hobbies and interests or anything that you love to do. It can be as simple as taking a walk, watching a movie, reading a book, playing a game, etc. As there is not sufficient information to identify the thinking patterns, we could get on a session and discuss further.

Hey there! I understand how difficult it can be to deal with anger and depression. The first thing I want you to know is that I am proud of you because sometimes, reaching out is the hardest thing to do and you have managed to do it. The best thing you could do right now to manage this concern better is to visit a mental health professional.A psychologist is a qualified mental health professional who will look into your concern in detail and formulate a specific treatment plan for you. There are different types of therapy, like cognitive behavioural therapy and dialectical behavioural therapy, and your psychologist will be able to treat you with the type of therapy that will address your needs. Here are a few things you can do alongside therapy to help you deal with this specific concern.: Reach out for support to your loved ones. The person that you talk to need not be able to give you fixed solutions to your problems but can be a good listener, who will listen without any judgement. Practise grounding techniques to calm you down when you are angry. Engage yourself on strenuous exercise when you feel angry. Letting out all the pent up anger and taking it out on equipment like punching bags can be extremely relieviig. Care for a pet. Whether it's buying you a pet or walking pets for other people, make it a point to care for pets. You can even buy a goldfish and care for it. That makes all the differences. Try to be a part of volunteering activities- Caring for others has a great impact on your mood. Caring for others will leave you with a sense of achievement and satisfaction and make you feel better about yourself. Look for a support group for depression - Meeting and interacting with other people who have similar experiences as you do can also be a great way to help you out! Listening to their experiences will not only help you eliminate the feeling of loneliness but also help you find new ways to deal with your bad days. It will also give you a sense of belongingness. Keep trying! Don’t give up!

Hi. Write your unique but disturbing thoughts into a poem. Try to make it a rythmic one. Make sketches with contents of bad memories. Have a teddy or panda who can give you company in crying moments. Take photos in different moods. Make albums. Make your life creative in your version.

Hello there! Let's clear the misconception first. It's therapeutic to cry so no shame should be attached with "crying". Suppression of your emotions will not help. Proper channelizing of your emotions, especially anger, is required. Find the most suitable ways of venting out of your emotions and express them.
Next Steps
Consultation with a mental health professional will provide you with better and healthy ways to express your emotions and to move on in life.
