Try to find out the reason for being angry and irritable all the time. You can do this by writing down thoughts and talking someone close to you. Once you understand the reason, you can work on that particular problem. For example, if the anger is due to expecting something from self , family or other people. Or if things are not happening the way you want. You need to work on the factors within your control rather focusing on factors beyond control. This will help you to reduce anger.

Anger and irritation could be due to suppressed desires/emotions. This also may be just a phase ... Your fighting with it would only extend it. You may seek a help form a counselor

Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately. Try some relaxation techniques like yoga, meditation and deep breathing. Indulge in hobbies. Spend time with people close to you.
