I have diabetes...shall I eat honey or not? Also I was suggested to eat flax seeds, so how to eat that.

Honey is sweet as sugar with added nutrition. Avoid honey and flax seeds are good to have . Anytime just add in salads or sprinkle over curd or salads . Follow diabetic diet. Don't take honey. Take lukewarm lemon water with one tsp roasted flax seed early morning.

Hello. If you have diabetes, it is better to regulate consumption of any type of sweeteners, even honey. However, you can safely take one or two teaspoons (5-10 ml) of honey per day if you are taking medication to manage your diabetes and your blood sugar levels are in control. Flaxseeds can be eaten as such, like a teaspoonful and just chew. Or, they can be crushed or powdered coarsely and added to the atta when making roti. They can also be added as topping on your salads.

Hello, as you have diabetes, it's best to avoid sugar, jaggery, honey. Grind flaxseed and eat, have 1 glass of water after that.
