Allergy and digestive system issues
Hi ,I am ayush . Here’s a simple summary of the few values flagged: • Iron: 182 µg/dL (normal 65–175) – slightly high. May come from diet or supplements. • Total IgE: 2461 IU/mL (normal <140) – high. Suggests strong allergic tendency (hay fever, eczema, asthma). You might notice sneezing, rashes or breathing issues. • Bilirubin total: 1.3 mg/dL (normal 0.2–1.2) – slightly raised. Often due to mild liver stress or gallbladder issues. No pain or jaundice? • Albumin: 5.5 g/dL (normal 3.8–5.0) – mild elevation, often from dehydration or high-protein diet. • BUN: 7.66 mg/dL (normal 8.9–20.6) – a bit low. Usually not a problem, could reflect low protein intake or hydration; . All other counts—blood, lipids, sugar, thyroid, vitamins D/B12—are within normal limits. I have common cold from many year and have digestive problem from few months .Please suggest me any more test if required or any advise and what to do next . Thanks 🙏

Your reports are mostly okay, but a few points stand out: Iron is a bit high - can sometimes be due to diet or supplements. If you’re not taking iron tablets, keep an eye, and repeat in 2–3 months. IgE is very high → this explains your long-standing cold/allergy symptoms. This suggests strong allergic tendency (allergic rhinitis, asthma, or eczema). Bilirubin slightly raised -usually mild liver stress or Gilbert’s syndrome (harmless). If no jaundice, abdominal pain, or dark urine, not a big concern. Albumin mildly high → could be from dehydration or high-protein diet. BUN slightly low → not significant if kidney function and rest of labs are normal.
Next Steps
Next Steps / Suggestions: Since IgE is very high + chronic cold → better to consult an Allergist/ENT doctor. They may suggest allergy testing (skin prick test, specific IgE) and long-term treatment. For digestive issues → you may need LFT (repeat), Ultrasound abdomen, and if persistent, a Gastro consult. Could also check stool routine if symptoms continue. Keep hydration good (2–3 L/day). Avoid very oily/spicy food, alcohol, excess packaged food. Try to identify & avoid allergy triggers (dust, pollen, pets, strong perfumes). Balanced diet with fruits, vegetables, probiotics (curd/yogurt). Regular exercise + proper sleep. If cold is persistent, a trial of anti-allergic medicine (levocetirizine/monteleukast, under doctor’s advice) may help.
Health Tips
If you get wheezing, breathlessness, yellow eyes/skin, severe abdominal pain, or unexplained weight loss → see a specialist immediately.

Hi Ayush You seems to be overly conscious for your health So you are high protein and vitamins and iron supplements It is good to be health conscious but supplements should be taken after consultation with a physician You are mainly having allergy and you should consult a chest physician allergist who will have test to decide on hypersensitivity issue and resolve your problem Keep your self hydrated and have healthy balanced diet and regular simple exercises like cycling swimming and brisk walk take plenty of fruits and fist full of nuts seeds daily apart from health balanced diet
Next Steps

Your symptoms and elevated IgE levels point to allergy related issues.Idealy you should consult an ENT specialist for a clinical examination, and an allergist in your area.apart from the symptomatic treatment you need de sensitisation treatment which are specifically available, but could be expensive. However the results are very encouraging.

Hi Ayush, Your reports are mostly fine, only a few mild changes: iron is a bit high (can happen with diet/supplements), IgE is raised (fits with your long-standing cold/allergy issues), bilirubin is slightly above normal (usually minor, often harmless), albumin is mildly high (likely from dehydration or high protein), and BUN is a little low (not serious). Since you have allergy and digestion problems, useful next steps could be: allergy panel or consult with an ENT/allergist, stool test, repeat liver function in a few months, and ultrasound abdomen if symptoms continue. Also keep hydration good, avoid unnecessary supplements, and maintain a balanced diet. I hope it help you

Summary of reports: Iron: Slightly high → Could be due to diet/supplements. Not worrisome. IgE: Very high → Indicates strong allergy tendency (cold, sneezing, rashes, asthma-like symptoms). Explains your recurrent cold. Bilirubin: Slightly raised → Could be mild liver stress. Monitor for jaundice, abdominal pain, or dark urine. Albumin: Mildly high → Usually due to dehydration or high-protein intake. BUN: Slightly low → Usually harmless; may reflect lower protein intake or hydration. Other tests (blood, sugar, thyroid, vitamins, lipids): Normal. --- Advice & Next Steps: 1. Allergy care: Avoid dust, smoke, strong perfumes, cold exposure, and known allergens. Use a mask outdoors. Consider allergy testing (RAST/skin prick test) for triggers. If symptoms severe → consult an allergist for preventive treatment. 2. Digestive issues: Eat light, balanced meals; avoid excess oily/spicy/junk food. Increase fiber (fruits, vegetables). Drink 2–3 L water daily. Probiotic-rich foods (curd, buttermilk) may help. If persistent → consider tests: Stool exam, Ultrasound abdomen, LFT repeat. 3. Liver health: Avoid alcohol, smoking, and unnecessary medicines. Repeat LFT after 6–8 weeks. 4. General: Maintain hydration. Regular exercise and sleep. If common cold is very frequent → ENT consult to rule out sinusitis, deviated septum, or chronic allergy. --- When to see a doctor urgently: Yellow eyes/skin (jaundice), persistent abdominal pain, weight loss, blood in stools, or severe breathing difficulty.

Seems you are having allergic rhinitis. You can use Avamys nasal spray, 2 puffs to be taken, just when cold starts. Use face mask while going out. You can go for allergy tests,  to know the substances causing allergy.

IgE is Significantly high .this explains your long-standing cold/allergy tendency. Common in allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, or eczema.
Next Steps
For allergies ENT specialist consult is useful. Treatment includes antihistamines, nasal sprays, and allergy control measures. For digestive problems: Avoid spicy and fatty foods, eat small frequent meals, stay hydrated, regular exercise. If persistent get an LFT, stool routine, and upper abdomen ultrasound to rule out gastric, liver, gallbladder issues.
Health Tips
No immediate danger seen, but follow-up with a doctor in person is advised since your IgE is very high and symptoms are chronic.
