It is very common to have continued acidity problems after typhoid. Pls continue with your treatment as given by your doctor, particularly regarding antacids and nutritional supplements. Also plan a healthy diet that includes all food groups. Drink adequate water and stay hydrated. Have fruits, nuts. Have fresh vegetables, thoroughly washed and preferably cooked Make sure you gradually introduce new foods, if you have been eating less during typhoid. Keep a watch on your food intake, such that some foods may cause more bloating or acidity, you can avoid those. If you find some items like milk or buttermilk, banana soothing, you can have them at least once a day.
Health Tips
limit intake of spices, tea or other food items that can irritate you. Have small meals at short intervals, as per your need. do not lie down immediately after eating and have your meals at least an hour before you go to bed. if you feel weak and want to rest, better to be in reclined position for a while. start having walks for few minutes every day, atleast at home and gradually increase the time as you feel better. hope this helps. For personal lifestyle prescription you can plan an online consultation.
