Hello. The wisdom tooth erupts at the age of 18-21 years of age. At times, when there is no sufficient space in the oral cavity, or due to the eruptional forces acting on the tooth, the tooth does not erupt and remains completely or partially impacted. Such a tooth needs to be extracted/removed.
You will require an OPG (full mouth x-ray) to determine the position of the tooth.
A completely or partially impacted 3rd molar, if not treated, causes complications like pain, cheek bite, improper oral hygiene, cavity to the adjacent tooth, pericoronitis (severe pain, inflammation, swelling in the gums of that region), radiating pain to the neck, ears, cheek, throat and headache.
Kindly visit a dentist for extraction of the 3rd molar
Hello
It is very common to have a partial erupted wisdom tooth that is impinging on to your cheeks that can lead to cheek bite or even headaches. You need to visit maxillofacial surgeon and get the problem fixed. I would recommend Dr Rohit Yadav, he is a maxillofacial surgeon practising in Dwarka New Delhi. You can get in touch with him

Hello there! I understand your concern. Get your 3rd molar evaluated from your nearest dentist. If it's impacted (improperly erupted), removal will be the best option. Please mantain a normal glucose level before planning your wisdom tooth removal for good and faster post operative healing. Get this procedure done as soon as possible to prevent complications following wisdom tooth infection.
Take care!
