No problem..... You can continue taking Abhyarishta during breastfeeding..... For the Fissure problem, besides avoiding constipation, you should take a sitz bath for 10-15 minutes twice daily followed by the application of some soothing ointment or mustard oil or coconut oil in the anal passage. Please keep in mind that in fissure frequent bowel movement is equally harmful as constipation so your stool should not be too hard as well as not too frequent. 1-2 bowel movements daily not more than that. For further support please DM me.....

While it is generally safe for most adults, but during breastfeeding it is not recommendable. Recommendations: Consultation with a Healthcare Provider: Before starting Abhayarishta or any other supplement, please consult your Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare provider. They can assess your individual health needs and provide personalized advice. Alternative Ayurvedic Remedies: Triphala: This is another safe and effective Ayurvedic remedy for constipation, which can be gentle and might be more suitable during breastfeeding. prepare a decoction by boiling 2gm of triphala in 1 cup of water , reduce the water into half and consume it warm once a day . be careful while using any laxative while breastfeeding , as overusage can cause lose motions to the baby. instead add cow's ghee to the diet. Dietary Adjustments: Increase your intake of fiber-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Staying hydrated can also help soften stools and ease constipation. Natural Laxatives: Incorporate natural laxatives such as soaked raisins, prunes, or figs into your diet. Lifestyle Modifications: Regular physical activity, like walking or gentle yoga, can improve bowel movements. Establishing a routine time for bowel movements can train your body and help reduce constipation. Managing Fissures: Sitz Baths: Sitting in warm water for 15-20 minutes a few times a day can help soothe the area and promote healing. Topical Applications: Applying coconut oil or other Ayurvedic ointments recommended by your practitioner can help relieve pain and promote healing. Your and your baby’s health is paramount. Ensuring safe and effective management of your constipation and fissure during breastfeeding is essential. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new treatment or supplement. I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or need personalized advice, please feel free to reach out. Warm regards, Vaidya Priyesh Jangra Founder - Shree Mangalam Ayurveda
