Abdominal adhesions after laparoscopy
Been about 10 months since I had a laparoscopic surgery for right ovarian torsion. Ovary had a large paraovarian cyst due to which ovary and fallopian tube were twisted thrice. Surgery untwisted the loops. Ovary is intact. Since last 4 months I am seeing increasing pain around ovulation and before periods on the right. Also on other days there is a constant pinching pain which also seems to go down the back of the thigh and calf now. It's as if something is holding onto that part of my abdomen. Digestion is impacted . Can't digest even simple foods. Have to go to toilet randomly multiple times. Ultrasound and ct scan of abdomen pelvis seem normal. Blood tests and stool test seem normal. Some doctors think it's adhesion. Can adhesions happen so soon? Is the thigh and calf pain related or something else is going on? If these are adhesions, do new adhesions form? Can adhesions grow larger and cause more problem in the future? What is the solution?

Adhesions can form after surgery. 10 months is good enough time for adhesions to form. They can cause symptoms. They are normally not diagnosed by sonography but MRI can pick them up. Sonologist may try by TVS if moving the probe to move the ovary can elicit pain.
Next Steps
Unfortunately the treatment of adhesions is also by laparoscopy.

Take Tablet Fenlong S twice a day for 7 days 30 minutes after breakfast and dinner with a glass of warm water
Next Steps
Take pineapple regularly as it breaks down the proteins and reduces adhesions
Health Tips
Take a boiled egg daily Take 3.5 litres of water daily Take 3 bananas daily Avoid spicy food Take Tablet Florita twice a day for 5 days This combination can help restore the benificial bacteria when an individual lose "good" bacteria in the gut due to prolonged antibiotics use or for any other issues. Probiotics can help balance the "good" and "bad" bacteria in the gut to keep the body working the way it should.
