RxDx was set up with a vision to provide pre hospital care to communities. A neighbourhood clinic concept. The Family Doctor (GP, general physician) is at the core of RxDx and it is a physician led and driven primary care + model. The GP’s are supported by diagnostics, physiotherapy, pharmacy and specialists as needed so it is a one stop health care solution for outpatients. This model sits in between single doctor practices and hospitals. In addition, RxDx aims to provide value added health care services such as health checkups, women’s care, geriatrics, a child friendly kids clinic, a foot and sports clinic and home health care services which are areas where focus and multi-disciplinary medical professionals are needed. These areas are not typical focus areas of hospitals as they are not surgical or intervention based. However, they fill a niche community need. Similarly using technology to help a patient access medical help via tele consults is another initiative of RxDx which can help decongest cities and de-stress individuals as patients are saved the commute. In our RxDx clinics, patients can see their favourite doctors on the RxDx smartapp thus saving them a visit to the clinic.RxDx started from one clinic in Whitefield in 2007 and has since organically expanded across Bangalore in a hub and spoke fashion. Three spokes in east Bangalore at Kundanhalli, Kadagudi, Bellandur are supported by the main branch in Whitefield. In 2018, a new hub has been created in Malleswaram. RxDx started with local GP services and then expanded into other areas which help the local community. Via telemedicine it aims to take the expertise of its wonderful doctor community to others in India, Africa and globally who could benefit from it.The word “RxDx” comes from Rx which is a symbol meaning prescription. Dx is the medical abbreviation for diagnosis. RxDx is a healthcare organisation with a difference-not a hospital driven by inpatients but a neighbourhood community clinic with a caring soul, focusing on areas of medicine that are most needed but also most neglected. Especially bringing back the importance of the GP in healthcare.

Visited Ms. Sheetal Chhabria (Clinical Nutritionist)
I consulted Dr. Sheetal to treat my general dietary system which I think had become affected due to work/covid related stress. To tell the truth, I was not having initial faith in getting a consultation from a nutritionist. However my views changed once I consulted with Dr. Sheetal.
1) Attention to patient: A lot of doctors just listen to symptoms and start writing a prescription. However, Dr. Sheetal was always attentive & interested in what I had to say.
2) Experimentation: I took 2 months' (8 consultations) appointment with Dr., and almost every week she heard my diet/ my daily routines and recommended new set of dietary ideas.
3) Low/ No medicines: This was my biggest surprise, that she almost prescribed NO medicines (except few digestive supplements). The result is, that I had no side-effects during the entire process.
4) Flexibility in appointments: Because of my schedule, or because of her emergencies - whenever we were not able to meet at the pre-defined time/day, we ensured we met on the next available slot.
I vehemently recommend Dr. Sheetal for any one who wants to bring their dietary system back to normal, who wishes to become fit or anyone who wants to loose some weight.
