I am writing this review with immense gratitude and strongly recommend NU Hospitals for anyone seeking urology consultation, especially from out of state.

We visited for the first time from a different state for my mother’s recurrent UTI (rUTI) issues, and we were truly overwhelmed by the level of support, care, and professionalism shown by the entire team.

Our sincere thanks go to Dr. Kumar Prabhu. His approach was a breath of fresh air. He spent ample time thoroughly reviewing our voluminous past medical history (a critical factor missing in many previous super specialty consultations) and patiently listening to our concerns. He ensured that only the necessary diagnostic procedures were advised, leading to a convincing and logical diagnosis we had not received elsewhere. The time he dedicated to us made us feel completely convinced and confident in the prescribed treatment plan.

Flawless Operational Efficiency

We were thoroughly impressed by the seamless operation of the hospital. Despite a high volume of patients, every procedure—including the X-Ray KUB, Uroflowmetry, and Urethral Calibration—was carried out exactly as per the scheduled appointment timings. This level of adherence to the timetable is exceptional.

A special note of thanks to the coordinator staff, including Ms. Gowri and Ms. Anushree, and the entire teams in the Pathology Department, X-ray, Uroflowmetry, and the Procedure Room. They guided us through every step with utmost care and compassion, ensuring the procedures were done safely and efficiently.

As visitors unfamiliar with the native language and Hindi, we were initially concerned about communication barriers. However, from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and treated with great care, with all staff engaging in discussions in English. This simple act of accommodating us made a difficult journey much easier.

We also appreciate the efforts of the Pharmacy staff and the Security team, who were helpful in managing car parking and ensuring smooth logistics. The hospital’s cleanliness, including the areas near the dialysis procedures, was impeccable, and the canteen served excellent, high-quality food.

Initially I visited on of doctor outside NU. They had suggested many medicine which were not very effective. But when I came to NU hospital they suggested a doctor. He is very experienced person and suggested the best medicine for my mother. He doesn't give more antibiotics until it's required. My mother is recovering a lot.
