couple of months back we visited Dr. DIPTARKA in Apollo Sarjapur clinic. seeking treatment for my wife’s hoarse voice. I am very impressed with Drs. knowledge, friendliness and his great listening skills. initially he thought it is due to some throat infection and gave medicines for a week. when there is no improvement, he immediately used camera and noticed a RIGHT VOCAL CHORD LESION. we were panic and worried what it could be. this is where great dr. in DIPTARKA came out and he made us not to worry about it and he was in constant touch with us thru whatsapp though he is on vacation after long time. He came back and I met him immediately and again I have seen the great qualities of a great dr. He spent more than 30 mins just to explain what the issue is and when I was apologetic for asking too many questions, he said ‘ Your wife is like my family member. I will explain and answer all your questions in the same way I will explain it to my family member’ I was speechless for his humbleness and treating his patients as his family members. I was very much relieved after hearing him and with no hesitation agreed to go for a surgery to remove the Lesion. I never had a thought of going for a second opinion after he explained me the problem.
He gave me all possible options for the hospitals where we can go for the surgery and finally we choose to go with Apollo Spectra in Koramangala. Dr. really helped us by assigning one coordinator to work with us on the Insurance part. Finally we admitted her after all the pre investigations and Dr. came to us again before the surgery and explained all the details and made us comfortable. He completed the surgery in an hour or so and immediately shared the happy news of successful surgery. He came out with happy face and explained how he performed the surgery. He made us not to stay in hospital more days and asked us to revisit in a weeks time. In all these days he was in continuous touch with me asking about the changes. We revisited him after 10 days and he noticed the surgery part is healing well. he also explained us about the Biopsy report and next steps. He suggested us to go for Voice therapy sessions and connected us to the right Voice Therapist. Right now, my wife is going thru voice therapy sessions and we are hoping she will talk to us loud and clear voice.
I am very thankful to Dr. Diptarka for his kindness , listening skills, detailed explanation, calm mind, helping and many qualities of a great dr. should have. Thank you very much Dr. and we owe you a lot

A Cautionary Experience with Dr. Dilip Dhanpal
Recently, I had an experience with Dr. Dilip Dhanpal that left me feeling quite shocked. This review is written to share my experience, hoping it might inform others who are considering seeking his medical advice.
Concerns with Treatment Approach: One of the primary issues I encountered was a strong inclination towards surgery for a range of problems* ********* ********** ***** ******* ***** *** ** ************ This approach felt somewhat experimental, leading to concern on our part.
Recommendation for Second Opinions: Based on our experience, I strongly encourage everyone to seek a second opinion before proceeding with any surgical recommendations made by Dr. Dhanpal. In our case, further consultations revealed alternative solutions that significantly differed from the initial advice we received, particularly regarding the necessity and urgency of surgery. ** *** ***** *** ********* *** ** ***** **** ********* *** ******* ******* *** ********
Hospital Affiliation Preferences: During our consultations, Dr. Dhanpal expressed a preference for conducting follow-up visits and tests at Sagar Hospital instead of Apollo Spectra, where we initially consulted him. This recommendation was made based on quicker report turnaround times. ******** **** ****** *** *** ******* *** ********** ******* ** ********* ********* which was disappointing given the logistical adjustments we had to make.
Diagnostic Concerns: The diagnostic journey under Dr. Dhanpal's care was confusing and, ultimately, unsatisfactory. Initially, a UTI was suspected, but the diagnosis shifted to cysts in the prostate over time. *** ******* *** ********* ** ******* **** **********. ******** **** *** ***** ******* ********* **** *** ********* *** *** ******* *********** ********

Long Review Alert ** Hi All , i wanted to write this review for long but was waiting for the right time . Problem :- From last two year i was having this throat issue ( choking sensation and tightness ) and consulted with all the doctors in Bangalore and did all the possible test and never knew what was the issue . First Meet with Doc :- i explained him everything and within 5 min he told me something which i was not expecting . he said coz of septum deviation you are breathing from mouth for long time and that's what it is. creating issue now . now let me go to flash back i had this multiple accident ( while playing cricket , while swimming in childhood ) and coz of that i had trouble breathing when i was small . while i grow up , my body learnt how to breathe through mouth . Now coming back to present coz of accident my septum had 4 fractures which was carrying since my childhood and coz of mouth breathing my throat was really infected . Suggestion from Doc :- He explained me the scenario well and suggest for the surgery . i used to ask him one question multiple time before surgery . he used to be very calm and answer them . I don't understand how can be someone so calm . ok now surgery was done , and one disclaimer it's not easy . you have to be very ready in your mind that the recovery process is not easy . The first week was very rough .Thanks to my wife ( can someone pls give her best wife award to bear me ) . i used to ping doc at 2 am , 3 am , coz of the anxiety in the first week . Doc / Sir used to reply me as soon as he can . God this man have so much of patience . i used to ask silly questions and he used to explain me the reason and that use to calm me . long story short , you are at a right place , he is the OG of ENT speciality . i am feeling much better ( but remember things will take time , drink lot of water and take rest ) . Diptankar sir if you are reading this , i am sorry and thankful sorry coz I asked same questions like multiple time and you used to smile and answer them so patiently . God bless you Doc 🙏
