He speaks multiple languages and understands the issue of the patient in their own language. He provides confident and assess the condition of the patients with small movements/exercises.
I had a very heavy backpain when I visited him. Thought I might need to go for small surgery and may need to take the rest for long time. He asked me to some activities with my legs, then he said its not a serious issue. No need to go for MRI and other reports.
You probably have issue with B12 and D3 vitamin related issues and recommended me to get tested. He also recommended to do few yoga and regular swimming.
As he mentioned, I undergone blood report outside and it was Vitamin D deficiency. After taking the supplement for a month, I get the relief from the backpain slowly. Finally, I am out of the backpain issue.
Thanks to him to guide me in the right direction.

I am 60 years old and I have a problem related to L4-L5 neurogenic claudification. We all r afraid, of spine surgery- if it is suggested. For 4 months I was trying all kinds of alternative methodologies- Ayurvedic- naturopathic etc before meeting Dr. Satish but nothing worked. I learnt about DR Sathish R from one of my colleagues, I met him only once, before deciding to undergo surgery under his hands.
He is super confident, very energetic and clarifies doubts, without getting irritated- he is obviously very busy, but still takes out time.
The doctor and his team at Sakra World hospital were very supportive and made my pre-surgery and post-surgery period at hospital very comfortable. I walked on the same day of surgery- I met him on 26/11/21 and got admitted on13/12/21 without meeting him again. Got surgery done onv14 th dec and got discharged on 17/12/21.
He gave confidence that the surgery is not complicated and have to follow certain precautions, till the end of recovery period which lasts for normally around 30 days. After 15 days of surgery, I resumed going to office.
My mother was struggling with needle tingling sensation, band like sensation below heart , stomach, upper back & also sleeps very less time in a day i.e Max 2 Hrs in a day . Many doctors said that it is due to gastric, acidity, tension, blood sugar & suggested so many tests like abdomen scanning, echo test, Ultra sound 3D Scanning, blood test, MRI cervical spine. I Consulted one neurologist in raichur, he admitted my mother for 4-5 days in his hospitals & gave them many pills including sleeping tablets & after 4-5 days he said your mother has to go for neurosurgery due to L4-L5 disc compression & suggested to go at Sparsh hospitals, Bangalore. I luckily found Practo in google search & searched for best neurosurgeons in bangalore. In a list, i saw Dr Satish rudrappa & took his appointment. Dr Satish Rudrappa is highly skilled & knowledgeable & he said me that no surgery is required for my mother. he said there is a Vitamin B12 & Vitamin D3 deficiency in my mother. So suggested supply those nutrition's regularly. Now after one month my mother is very active and they don't have any pain too. I am very happy with great satisfaction after consulting Dr Satish Rudrappa. Thank you sir so much.

Dr. Satish Rudrappa is an amazing surgeon. Very knowledgeable and highly experienced. I had a very complex L5-S1 situation and I am glad we went to Dr.Satish. Six weeks after surgery I have resumed my office work. It is not to say that I am completely relieved of all pain. Well, let us face it, spine surgeries are never simple. It does take 12+ weeks for someone to recover fully. So no complaints!
I saw Dr. Satish yesterday with a new x-ray and he was very pleased to see the implants staying intact. That he asked me to sit on the floor shows how confident he is about his work. Well, I couldn't muster energy to sit cross-legged on the floor is a different matter. Why say more, you can never go wrong with Dr. Satish. My sincere thanks to him for all his help and support. Thanks also to my good friend Dr. M.S. Phaneesha who referred us to Dr. Satish. Dr. Phaneesha is himself an outstanding spine surgeon but currently staying abroad.
Dr. Satish did the surgery in June 2015 at Sakra Hospital. We live in west Bangalore. Thus, commuting to Sakra was a nightmare. Other than the travel part it was a highly positive experience with Sakra too. In all it has been a positive experience with Dr. Satish, Sakra and their collective staff.

I had consulted him for L5S1 disc prolapse, after I had already consulted two spine surgeons. They had already dented my confidence and I was almost ready for surgery.
*** **** ****** ** * ******* he fills all his confidence into his patient.
His methods of diagnosis, explaining problem area to patients, giving them confidence and suggesting to avoid surgery are noteworthy.
About his expertise, I think I don't need to write. His qualification and experience already highlights that.
After a treatment completion from him (its been 9 years by now), I have trekked 5 times, traveled outstation on two wheeler, going to gym again... overall back to normal life and have almost forgot the slip disk I had(ve?).

I was pretty happy with the the treatment provided by Dr.Satish.
I have a complaint too, that someone need to address and immediately. The appointment time i got was 10:20. It was crowded, so i knew i was going to be late, no problem with that. I waited till 12:30 and when i started seeing the people who came after me started going in and coming out before me, i started losing it. I came for the appointment after my night shift, without sleep. They were sending in people through the backdoor and also, they were sending some people who were shouting about the wait time, to the next room, where the doctor had to move around from room no 10 to 11 to meet the patients.
From the next time, if you are sending an appointment time, please try to be true to that. I can understand when it gets busy, its hard to keep it. At least keep those two monitors ON, which shows the name list of the patients in queue. I came in at 10 and by the time i came out of Sakra it was 1:30. I have to work tonight as well, without sleeping at all. If i was informed about this earlier, i atleast could have planned something for this.
Please try to give some importance for the patient's preference as well!
Thank you!
Visited For Back Pain Treatment
Excellent!!! My wife is suffering with severe back pain (upper left back) from past 8 years. After lot of useless treatments, one of my friend routed me to Dr. Satish Rudrappa. Yesterday was our first visit to him, he is an amazing human being! he treated us like we know him for years! while our mind was busy chewing his humorous conversation, he had completed thorough diagnosis. He explained us what exactly is the root cause and how that can be fixed. We are very positive that the prescription, suggestion and the confidence he boosted with-in us will definitely work great in resolving the pain.
Out of words to express the Excellence!
