Visited Dr. Arpandev Bhattacharyya (Endocrinologist)
Happy with: Explanation of the health issueDoctor friendlinessTreatment satisfaction
When the world is quick to paint medical professionals with a broad and often unjust brush, you and your team stood tall as a testament to what true healing looks like — not just clinical, but deeply human.
Dr. Arpandev Bhattacharya — Your vigilance and expertise in endocrinology **** ** *** **** ** ***** *** ******* laid the very foundation of this journey. The timely and precise measures you took to manage thyroid functionality ensured that every subsequent step of the pregnancy was built on solid ground. Your proactive approach gave us the confidence to move forward without fear.
Dr. Priti Venkatesh — As a highly expert perinatologist in the city, you were the steady compass through each milestone. Your thorough growth assessments and your timely guidance were invaluable in keeping both mother and baby on the right course. You worked seamlessly as part of this team, and your experience shone through in every interaction.
Dr. Meena Muthiah — There are very few words adequate enough to describe what you mean to our family. You are not just one of the most senior and respected gynaecologists in South India * *** *** ******* *** ******* * **** ***** Your thoroughness, your calm reassurance, *** ***** **** **** ********** ***** brought our baby safely into this world. What moves us deeply is your unwavering commitment to natural delivery wherever it is possible — a skill and a philosophy that is becoming increasingly rare in today's medical landscape. You embody everything a doctor should be, and we are forever grateful that our path led us to you.
*** ****** * ******* ** *** ****** * *********** ** **** ****** ** ** * ******** During those long, demanding nights when a new mother and a newborn needed the most support, you were always just a call away. You helped my wife in every possible way, guided us through those first challenging hours of getting the baby to sleep, and did so with a warmth and patience that felt nothing short of familial. *** *** *** ***** **** ** **** *******
Ms. Jhansi — Your expertise in lactation care made a world of difference. The techniques and guidance you shared with my wife went far beyond what is conventionally taught — you brought a ***** ** ********* *** * personalized sensitivity to something that is often underestimated in post-delivery care. Because of you, my wife approached breastfeeding with confidence rather than anxiety.
Dr. Venkatesh H.A. — A highly regarded , a known face in Bangalore as a Neonatologist; Welcoming a newborn into the world is as joyous as it is overwhelming. You understood that, and you walked alongside us every step of the way. Your expertise as a neonatologist gave us immense peace of mind during those fragile early days, and your accessibility and kindness whenever we reached out spoke volumes about the kind of person you are. Knowing that you will continue to guide our child as a pediatrician now through their growing years, right into adolescence, is something we hold with tremendous comfort and trust.
To the entire institution of Manipal Hospital, HAL Old Airport Road — you have assembled a team of professionals who are not only masters of their craft but are also deeply compassionate human beings. You have proven, beautifully and convincingly, that medicine at its finest is where science meets the soul.
Thank you for our baby. Thank you for our family.

Visited Dr. Vidyadhara S. (Spine Surgeon (Ortho)) For Spinal SurgerySpinal FusionScoliosis Correction
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for moneyWait time
Based on lot of research and multiple suggestions from different people, I decided to consult Dr. Vidyadhara S (HOD Spine Department - Manipal Hospital) for my mother Renu Anand's spine problem as she was suffering from Leg pain & numbness since last few years due to her spine issue. While consultation he patiently examined deeply, listened to her problem and gave us the much needed confidence and advise to undergo a spine surgery L3/L4 and L5/L6 fusion/decompression. Because of his level of knowledge, confidence and expertise we did not give a second thought and decided to go ahead for the surgery. Her surgery happened last week on 18th Aug 2022 and I am happy to say that she started walking on the evening of her surgery date itself and as today its her 5th day post surgery she is improving everyday. Dr. Vidyadhara is a true gem and a Big Thanks to him for being so much more than I ever would have thought I could find in a senior doctor. Shoutout for a great team of doctors headed by Dr. Vidyadhara especially Dr. Bala, Dr. Ashish and Dr. Prabhakar for their guidance and support starting from the first day itself till today. I have never came across such a wonderful and a professional team of doctors who tirelessly work 24×7 for the service of their patients. Thanks to Dr. Vidyadhara and entire spine team of Manipal for the tremendous skill in performing my mom's surgery. Your talent and caring manner is a credit to the medical profession. You guys are truly a lifesaver... Thank you, again !!!
Visited Dr. Amrita Rao (Gynecologist) For Pregnancy Check Up
Hoped for better: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
Our experience with Dr. Amrita Rao over a period of four months was deeply disappointing. My wife was pregnant at the time, and we had been consulting her during that period. We were covered under a government medical scheme, applicable for me. As per this scheme, consultation fees are subsidized—about half the standard private rate**** ********* **** ******* ******** ***** ***** *** ** *** ********** ******* *********************** *** ****** *** ******** ** **** * ********** ******** ******** ****** ******** ***** **** ******* ************ ***** **** ** ************* * *** **** *** *** **** *** * ***** ************ **** * ******* **** *** ************* *** ** *** ************* ** *** **** ************** ****** *** ******** ****** ******* I had expected a more balanced and professional approach from a medical practitioner.

Throughout the consultation period, our genuine concerns were often met with dismissive or curt responses. For example, basic questions were sometimes answered **** ******* ****** **** ******* ******* ** ************ Although we considered changing doctors earlier, ** ******************* ** ** ***** ** ************* *********** *** ******** ** *********** *** **** **** ************ **** ** ********** *** ** ** * *** **** ************* *** ********** *********** ********** a simple and respectful communication early on would have prevented months of discomfort. While we were grateful to have eventually made a change, we sincerely hope that future patients are met with greater professionalism and empathy.
