Today, the 12th April 2024 i visited the Aster RV Hospital Bengaluru for an appointment with Dr. Krishna Chaitanya.The Specialist in Vascular diseases.

I had my own inhibition on the outcome of my visit, as the Dr.'s visit ( consultancy) was not for me, but for my 77 year old Mother in-law. She was suffering from Varicose vein, related skin inflammation.

We thought of the language issues as my mother in law was not comfortable with English & also Dr's, keeping the patient at a distance both physically as well as mentally during consultation. ( Mine & my spouse's experience most of the time when we visited the other doctors for any ailments in Bangalore)

As a surprise we did not face issues mentioned above. The Dr. Welcomed us with a smiling & assuring face. He was very courteous with the patient, my mother in law, my self & my spouse. With a very smiling & encouraging face, he was able to get the information on her ailment from my mother in law.

As Dr.'s questions were in fluent Kannada, the patient was able to confidently explain all her ailments.

At the end of the consultation, the way the Dr. explained the patient's illness & the remedial measures viz., Medication through Tablets, Skin Ointments, Compression Stockings etc. my mother in law said " MY AILMENT IS 50% gone just by meeting you Dr." She also told about joint pain in knee, Foot & also Spondylitis. For these also, he suggested remedial measures. All three of us were very happy to have decided to Consult this Doctor. HOPE MOST DOCTORS I consult in my life time be of same type.

It was a wonderful experience for the whole family who were in a very delicate and unforeseen situation while we admitted my wife with Aster Rv hospital at JP nagar and Dr Anirudh in a quick action diagonised the problem as Aneyurism .Not only that he gave clear account of the situation ,the patient is undergoing and his suggestion to come out of it at the earliest. In the next couple of days she was operated for the rupture by clip method by Dr Anirudh and his team.We found her on road to recovery within next few days.

What is amazing is the composed communication sharing the treatment and recovery proceedure by DR Anirudh to all of us who were definitely anxious and concerned in those critical days.He kept us on loop on every small developments whether physical behaviour or changes in anatomy of the patient guiding on handling her post operation as well as post discharge.

Today after couple of months we as a family are thankful for Dr Anirudh for correct road map for treatment adopted by him. By this we feel we have a capable and highly professional Neuro Surgeon in Bengaluru whose friendly approach to patients is a nice phenomenon noticed in the medical freternity.

To say Dr. Mridula Devi was a god-send to us is an understatement. We visited A LOT of gynecologists and we were never able to stick to one.
