I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Dr Harini P Shetty (mam) specialised in obstetrician, gynecologist and infertility treatment. As someone who had been struggling with infertility for a while, finding the right healthcare professional was crucial. Fortunately, I found a true gem in my doctor, and I cannot express my gratitude enough for the exceptional care and expertise I received throughout my journey.

From the moment I stepped into the clinic, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff that immediately put me at ease. The entire team, from the nurses to the administrative staff, demonstrated a genuine commitment to patient care. They were always attentive, compassionate, and understanding, recognizing the emotional toll that infertility can take on individuals and couples.

My obstetrician and gynecologist stood out as a true expert in the field. Their vast knowledge and experience in infertility treatment were evident from our very first consultation. They took the time to thoroughly explain the various procedures and treatment options available, ensuring that I had a clear understanding of each step along the way. Moreover, they actively listened to my concerns and fears, creating a safe space where I felt comfortable discussing my emotions openly.

Throughout my treatment, my doctor's expertise and professionalism shone through. I do not recommend this doctor for pre-pregnancy consultation**** ******* *** ***** ****** *** ******** ******* *** ****** ** *********** ******* ******* During my first visit, I waited for almost 50 minutes before meeting her. I understand that doctors can be busy and some patients may require more time, so I did not mind the wait. However, the actual consultation lasted barely 2 minutes. She simply advised me to undergo some tests. I understood that without test results, she could not provide a complete assessment, so I agreed to proceed.

Later, the prerequisite condition she had mentioned for the tests did not occur in my case, so I booked another appointment. My appointment was at 11:00 AM, but I was called in only around 12:40 PM. Again, our interaction lasted only a few seconds before she suggested a scan. After the scan, she prescribed a medicine, which was helpful, but that was it. There was no advice or explanation, and the consultation ended. I thought that perhaps once the test results were available, she would be able to explain what was happening with my body and provide some guidance.

Trusting the process, I completed all the recommended tests, which cost me approximately ₹12,000. In addition, I paid consultation fees of ₹900 for each of my three visits. When I returned with all the test results, I waited nearly another hour before seeing her. I expected a detailed discussion of my reports, especially since they included several fertility and pregnancy-related hormone tests.

Unfortunately, the consultation was once again ********* brief, lasting no more than 3–4 minutes. The only thing she mentioned was that my Vitamin B12 level was low. She then asked whether we should start treatment. Naturally, I wanted to understand why treatment was required, what the diagnosis was, and what the test results indicated. However, I received absolutely no explanation. During the consultation, she escorted me out of her room herself and immediately called in the next patient.

I specifically asked whether I would be able to conceive naturally. Her response was, "We'll see. First do a semen analysis, then we'll see." My concern was not about predicting the future with certainty. I simply wanted her to review my reports and explain whether there was anything concerning, whether * *** ******* ********* ** ******* any of the results indicated a problem. She had nothing to say. She did not provide any meaningful interpretation of the reports despite being the doctor reviewing them.

At that point, I realized that continuing to spend my time and money on further consultations would not be worthwhile. Most of my questions were answered with, "We'll see."

The entire experience was highly disappointing.

** ******* ************** *** *** ******** **** ** ************* *** ********* As a patient seeking pre-pregnancy advice, I expected some discussion about fertility, ovulation, conception planning, hormone levels, or at least an explanation of my reports* *** ******** *** **** ********** ***** ** ******* *** ******** ******* ************ Despite repeatedly raising my concerns and asking questions, I felt that my issues were not addressed.

She may be a very experienced doctor, and I am not questioning her medical expertise. I am only sharing my personal experience as a patient. For me, the consultations felt rushed, ****** ********** *********** and did not provide the guidance I was seeking despite the significant time and money invested.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend her for pre-pregnancy consultations or for patients who are looking for detailed explanations, guidance, and discussion about their concerns. I had 3 consultations with her, and the same thing happened all 3times.

Highly Recommend the Doctor. We started consulting Dr. Harini from our Second Trimester and had a very good experience. Happy to have choosen Dr Harini as our consultant. My wife is blessed with a healthy baby girl (Our Second Princess). Certain Good traits that, we would like to share:1. Very down to earth person (She is a kid nature, there is absolutely no attitude, such a sweet person), Always with a smile on her face when we enter her room. 2. She shared her mobile number at the first visit itself. We are very happy with the way she answered the calls or a WhatsApp message. She is ready to answer your call anytime. Just in case she is busy or missed your call (which rarely happens), she will give you a call back immediately. At some point she even answered the call during the sleep. 3. Depending on the BMI of the patient, doctor focuses more on Diet. With her guidance, my wife was able to maintain a healthy pregnancy weight gain. With each visit, she used to spend a good portion of time in advising what diet needs to be followed. 4. A Good Listener, she patiently hears all the questions that you have and gives reply after you have completed asking your questions (She does not interrupt you in between). 5. With her gesture and soft spoken nature, you can ask her all your doubts. she is ready to reply to all of them. She spends a good amount of the consultation time with each patient. There is absolutely no hurry. 6. The care taken by the doctor during the C-Section Procedure was great. Again not in a hurry, she carefully does the procedure. We did not have any issues in the care provided by the doctor. Thank you Doctor for the care. With that care, my wife was able to walk the next day of C-Section.Thank you Doctor for everything. I had a very bad experience with Dr. Harini Shetty in this hospital. I started consulting her after going through the reviews in Practo that she is very soft spoken, very friendly and has lots of patience. But this turned out to be totally false in my case. I was consulting her for my second pregnancy since January. Last Saturday due to current situation I did online consultation and she was the one who asked me to come down to hospital to show her the test reports though I had shared the reports in whatsApp. I understand the whole world is suffering from the pandemic and never deny to it. I just told her my kid is feeling lonely and that's the reason I'm trying for second child.
