I consulted Dr. Shivani Kona for an issue in my ear. I have a long-standing condition where my ear membrane is stuck to the bone behind it, leading to mild hearing impairment. So I have always been careful to keep my ear dry.
This time, something unexpected happened—there was a blockage in my left ear, and I could not hear from it. To make things worse, a discharge started coming out whenever I lay on my left side. This continued for two weeks and really scared me.
Dr. Shivani was extremely patient and understanding, especially since I have been dealing with ear issues all my life. She diagnosed a perforation in my ear and prescribed medication. When the discharge did not stop, I messaged her a couple of times out of worry. She always responded promptly, called me again, changed my medication, and did everything she could to give me relief.
I truly respect doctors like Dr. Shivani—humble, responsive, and genuinely caring. She stood by me through three weeks of pain and frustration, and I am deeply grateful for her support.
