Aruna Ma'am was a godsend doctor in our life. I had been seeing other doctors for my PCOS from a few months before going to Dr Aruna who gave me treatment for PCOS. Dr Aruna is the very friendly and explains everything during the treatment. Our reason for seeing her was a long term approach about having kids. My treatment started with the PCOS and a little later we started planning for kids. Having PCOS I had been given little hopes before by my friends and family. I am really thankful to ma'am and to my luck that we reached her. Ma'am treatment approach was a long term one and it paid off. I am now a mother to a healthy boy and that too by normal delivery, all thanks to Dr Aruna. The treatment was a step by step plan with ma'am explaining each and every step along the way. It was a long time to reach the end goal but whenever someone says that its a short treatment with results very soon should not fully believe them. Aruna ma'am took all the necessary treatment and a systematic approach with atleast 2 or 3 cycles where we tried with normal approach to get conceived. I was finally able to conceive with ovulation induction. I liked the most that there was no unneccessary treatment or tests that were conducted or even any unrequired approach for the ovulation. During the initial days ma'am was able to pick up the fact that my sugars were a notch above normal and was accurately about to diagnose gestational diabetes at around the 35th week, which the doctor expected in the first trimester looking at the slight change in the sugars. I call that experience. I followed up with ma'am throughout the pregnancy but there was a complication with the shorting of the cervix which led to me having to undergo cervical cerclage. I underwent the emergency surgery in the able hands of Dr Aruna, who took the utmost care and urgency to do the surgery which was successful. I feel, my husband and I have shared our most exciting wait with the ups and downs during this journey with the strongest support of Dr Aruna. She was beside us during the best and the worse part of it. Finally in the delivery room giving the all needed patience and encouragement for the hours of labour and finally the joy of bringing a life into the world. I am sharing my experience in detail. My wife was suffering from pelvic pain after menstrual period days and in usg it was found that she was having endometriotic cyst. I was consulting in a popular maternity hospital (with a famous OBG ) and she suggested laparoscopy and also told that my wife may need some treatment / IVF to get pregnant in future based on USG report. She requested my wife to stop her school job and should try for baby immediately after laparoscopy. I'm a 32 year old woman. I had axillary breast tissue in both my armpits. I had developed this as a teenager and never really bothered to check or actually know what it was. But as I grew old, this lump kept getting bigger (the size of a potato) and I started getting conscious to wear sleeveless or tightly fitted clothes as the bulge would be evident from outside. Although it was benign and harmless, it added to a lot of discomfort both in terms of looks and feel. Then one fine day, I googled to find out what it was and decided to visit a gynecologist because that would be the obvious choice, considering it's related to breasts, but she guided me to plastic surgeon Dr. Neha Chauhan. Today, you don't find many experienced female plastic surgeons and hence finding her was a blessing for me. Not many people know that this requires the attention of a plastic surgeon and not a general surgeon or a gynaecologist. This is a very common occurrence in women and more than 50 percent of them are not even aware of it. I met Dr. Neha Chauhan and she examined and explained the condition to me very elaborately and said it requires surgery. She is a very dignified, confident surgeon and made me aware of my condition and educated me about things that I didn't even find on google. She made me feel very comfortable and gave me the courage to go for the surgery. I have never in my life been admitted in any hospital or undergone any sort of minor or major surgery but the confidence in Dr. Neha made me go for it without any second thoughts.The surgery took about 3-4 hours on general anesthesia. There was an incision made in both the armpits. The beauty of the surgery was that Dr. Neha made a very minimal size incision, about 1-1.5 inches and the extra tissues were taken out through it. The next 10 days of the surgery was a bit difficult because of the dressing that was done under both arms but the size of the dressing kept getting smaller and post 10 days of surgery I was fully fit and fine. Ideally, one should be okay after 3-4 days but I have very little threshold towards pain hence needed a proper 10 days rest. And honestly, what is 10 days when compared to a whole life of being free from that extra piece of lump on your body and being able to wear whatever you want to without thinking! After about 2-3 weeks, I could only see a small incision mark that almost got hidden along the folds of my skin. To sum it up, the whole experience was a smooth sail and all credit goes to Dr. Neha who handled it so beautifully and made it seem like a walk in the park. I would forever be thankful to Dr.Neha for making my life better!
