Visited Dr. K P Srihari Das (Interventional Cardiologist) For Heart ConditionsHypertension Treatment
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
Since June 2021, I have been feeling constant heaviness/pressure in my left chest. Before meeting Dr KP Srihari in Sept 2022, I had met other Cardiologists, and had got all the tests done such as Lipid profile, Echo, TMT etc. As per my Lipid profile report, I had high Triglycerides and low HDL. Also, my Echo indicated mild concentric LVH in my heart. As per doctor, LVH was because of high BP, and hence I was put on BP medicine(Olmezest 20mg, Proloment 12.5 XL). I was also prescribed Rozuvas F5 to treat my high triglycerides and low HDL. The BP medicine helped in bringing my BP from 150/100 to 120/80 and even lower. Also, my triglycerides went down from 350-400 to 100-110 in a few months of taking the medicine. However, the constant and irritating chest heaviness stayed as before. So, finally, I went through Coronary Angiogram also in Mar 2022, to rule out any blockage in my blood vessels; the report was negative. I also went through Gastro Endoscopy to find out if gas was causing the chest heaviness, but it was not the case either. The endoscopy indicated H Pylori infection my stomach, and I took treatment to clear the infection, but my chest heaviness was still there.
So I decided to change my Cardiologist; and based on one of my friend's recommendation, met Dr KP Srihari in Sep 2022. He went through my complete medical history very patiently and explained me the treatment plan. He got some basic tests such as Echo, TMT and Lipid profile done for me and told me not to worry about the chest heaviness. He advised me to continue with the BP and Triglyceride medication, and to have an active and healthy lifestyle that includes daily exercise and yoga. Overall, I found the Doctor very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained me my condition without sugarcoating any fact, but at the same time ensured that I had a proper plan to help myself. During my multiple interactions with the Doctor, I always felt he was genuinely interested in improving patients health condition, and nothing else. I would highly recommend him to anyone having any heart related ailment(s).
Visited Dr. Nischith D S (Joint Replacement Surgeon)
I recently had the opportunity to undergo treatment at Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar, and I must say my entire experience – right from the Emergency admission till my discharge – was nothing short of exceptional.
First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Nischith, Orthopedic Surgeon. His expertise, calm approach, and thorough explanation of every step in the process gave me immense confidence and reassurance. From the initial consultation to the surgical procedure and post-operative care, Dr. Nischith’s professionalism and genuine concern for my well-being stood out. He not only ensured that the surgery was successful but also made sure I was comfortable and fully informed throughout.
I would also like to specially thank Mr. Vishnu, the coordinator, who was a true guiding hand during this journey. Right from admission procedures, guiding my family, arranging consultations, and coordinating between different departments – he made the entire process seamless and stress-free. His patience, timely updates, and availability whenever we had doubts or needed clarity truly made a huge difference.
The overall experience at Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar was outstanding. The Emergency team was prompt and efficient, ensuring immediate attention was given without delay. The nursing staff and support teams were compassionate, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Every small detail – be it in communication, treatment protocols, or discharge formalities – was handled with precision and care.
What impressed me the most was the way the hospital ensures a complete hand-holding experience. As a patient, you never feel lost or confused – at every stage, there is someone to guide you, comfort you, and explain what’s next. That level of coordinated care made the entire treatment journey smooth and stress-free for me and my family.
I am leaving the hospital not just with good health but also with deep gratitude. I would strongly recommend Dr. Nischith, Coordinator Vishnu Kesavan, and Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar to anyone who is looking for top-quality medical care combined with compassion, transparency, and professionalism.
A big thank you to the entire team for being with me every step of the way and making this a truly positive experience.

Little bit of history about how I reached Amarkishen - as you all are doing I did Google and browse for the best reviews.
Travelled from Melbourne (Australia) to check on my gastric issues and confirm what is the cause. Well the doctor started with endo ** **** ** **** ********** **** ** I dint mind as he had to do the preliminary checks.
Later found out there was small ulcers being formed on my small intestine.
I told him I am completely depending on him as I am in India just for few months and want to get rid of the issue completely. He promised that he will treat and take care of me.
He also tested for my pylori h which he did not bother to share the results at all (he asked me not to worry about it now)
He gave a 12 days course tablets *** ******* ****** ******** ****** *** ** *** ** ***** ******** *** ******** *** ****** Had a lot of questions which he did not answer to any of it properly (all he said was don't worry leave it to me) I still believes.
Then he gave me a next 12 days course only good was he added tablets to stop diarrhea and infact it stopped.****** *** ** ******** *** ******** ***** *** ** *** *** one fine day I stopped having the feel of hunger and lost a lot of weight .. the continuing weekend I had continuous fever which did not stop for more than 24 hours and I got worried it was a Sunday - unfortunately he isn't working on Sunday.
Later drove to emergency of Manipal Jayanagar so atleast I can get admitted . But due to many covid patients in emergency I was asked to bare it for another day and see him on OPD.
And it's Monday morning I go and meet him with almost no strength to talk and continuous fever still.
He sees me and as soon as I explained that I am waiting for two days to meet him. He started behaving bad - he said you should not come to OPD with fever symptoms as you are putting me at risk.
He spoke to someone on emergency and asked me to get COVID tested first to confirm and then bring me to OPD.
Every time you visit this man he needs a new consultation ******* ***** ** ***** ** ******** ***** ** ****** ** ***** ** ****** ***** **** *** *** ******* ** *** ****** ** *** ***** **** ** ** * ****** ** ** ****** ******** *** ** *** ******** ****** *** *** ****** **** * ****** *** ******* ***** **** ***** ****** ************ ****** ******* ** ********* **** ********* ** ***** ********* Later I had to find a different gastro in the emergency and had to admit to get my treatments started with.

Unsatisfactory Experience with Dr. R. Manjunath at Dr. Malathi Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the treatment I received during my recent visit to Dr. Malathi Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar—specifically under the care of Dr. R. Manjunath (Internal Medicine – General Physician).
As a patient seeking professional and compassionate medical care, I felt extremely disappointed by the lack of empathy, **** ************** and overall inattentive approach during the consultation. Rather than feeling supported and understood, I left the hospital feeling unheard and disrespected.

I am sharing this feedback in the hope that the hospital administration will take it seriously and ensure such experiences are not repeated for other patients. A hospital visit should be a place of healing**** ********** *** ********* *************
I request that this matter be acknowledged and appropriately reviewed.
