Visited Dr. Nischith D S (Joint Replacement Surgeon)
I recently had the opportunity to undergo treatment at Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar, and I must say my entire experience – right from the Emergency admission till my discharge – was nothing short of exceptional.
First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Nischith, Orthopedic Surgeon. His expertise, calm approach, and thorough explanation of every step in the process gave me immense confidence and reassurance. From the initial consultation to the surgical procedure and post-operative care, Dr. Nischith’s professionalism and genuine concern for my well-being stood out. He not only ensured that the surgery was successful but also made sure I was comfortable and fully informed throughout.
I would also like to specially thank Mr. Vishnu, the coordinator, who was a true guiding hand during this journey. Right from admission procedures, guiding my family, arranging consultations, and coordinating between different departments – he made the entire process seamless and stress-free. His patience, timely updates, and availability whenever we had doubts or needed clarity truly made a huge difference.
The overall experience at Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar was outstanding. The Emergency team was prompt and efficient, ensuring immediate attention was given without delay. The nursing staff and support teams were compassionate, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Every small detail – be it in communication, treatment protocols, or discharge formalities – was handled with precision and care.
What impressed me the most was the way the hospital ensures a complete hand-holding experience. As a patient, you never feel lost or confused – at every stage, there is someone to guide you, comfort you, and explain what’s next. That level of coordinated care made the entire treatment journey smooth and stress-free for me and my family.
I am leaving the hospital not just with good health but also with deep gratitude. I would strongly recommend Dr. Nischith, Coordinator Vishnu Kesavan, and Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar to anyone who is looking for top-quality medical care combined with compassion, transparency, and professionalism.
A big thank you to the entire team for being with me every step of the way and making this a truly positive experience.

I went to Manipal Hospital for a master check-up and my pelvic ultrasound showed an abnormality. That’s how I met Dr. Manjushree Pai, and I’m so grateful I did.
First consultation - May 27th, 2026:
She examined me and explained my condition with such clarity and in detail. It’s not that often we come across such doctors. When I panicked hearing that I have to get a Laparoscopic Surgery done, she read my face instantly and made things simple from day one.
She’s fun - her parting words were “Don’t do ChatGPT and panic” * as I left that day. I never felt the need for a second opinion, even though my friends suggested it.
Follow-up:
I was amazed how she prioritized my case and gave me the earliest surgery date. She’s reachable on mobile anytime, updates patients on everything, and even shares her own schedule as in when she is available and not available in hospital, when she is available in OPD - something I’ve never experienced with any doctor before.
Surgery & Post-op:
Mine was a difficult Laparoscopic Myomectomy with multiple fibroids. She visited me every day after admission and prepped me before surgery. Post-surgery recovery has been excellent thanks to her.
Dr. Manjushree Pai isn’t just a wonderful surgeon - she makes you feel safe and cared for. Honestly it was hard to accept I wouldn’t see her daily after discharge. For anything gynae in my life, it’s only going to be Dr. Manjushree Pai.
She is simply Expertise, Empathy, and Honesty. Manipal is lucky to have her.

Forever Grateful to Dr. K P Srihari Das – The Doctor Who Saved My Life
6th March 2021 is a day I will never forget. I had celebrated my 50th birthday just the previous day. While having lunch, I suddenly felt extremely uneasy, started sweating profusely, and had to lie down. My wife immediately realized something was seriously wrong and rushed me to the nearby hospital within minutes.
I had suffered a massive heart attack and needed immediate intervention. By sheer providence, Dr. K P Srihari Das, Senior Interventional Cardiologist, had just completed an angioplasty and was about to leave for lunch when my emergency came in. He immediately took charge, performed the angiogram, identified the blockage, and proceeded with the angioplasty without losing precious time.
I was conscious throughout the procedure, and I still remember how calmly he kept explaining what was happening. When I was in severe pain, he told me to bear with it for another four or five minutes until the blockage was cleared. True to his words, the pain disappeared within minutes.
More than five years later, I continue to see Dr. Srihari Das every six months and am leading a normal life. He is not only an exceptional doctor but also a caring, disciplined, and wonderful human being who takes a personal interest in his patients.
I genuinely believe that God placed the right doctor in the right place at the right time for me that day. I will remain grateful to Dr. Srihari Das for the rest of my life.
A special word of thanks also to Sister Pavitri for her care and support. Her warmth and attention have always been deeply appreciated.
For anyone seeking consultation for a heart-related condition, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. K P Srihari Das, Senior Interventional Cardiologist, Malathi Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, based on my own experience as his patient for more than five years.
Thank you, Doctor, and the entire team for giving me the opportunity to continue enjoying life with my family.

Since June 2021, I have been feeling constant heaviness/pressure in my left chest. Before meeting Dr KP Srihari in Sept 2022, I had met other Cardiologists, and had got all the tests done such as Lipid profile, Echo, TMT etc. As per my Lipid profile report, I had high Triglycerides and low HDL. Also, my Echo indicated mild concentric LVH in my heart. As per doctor, LVH was because of high BP, and hence I was put on BP medicine(Olmezest 20mg, Proloment 12.5 XL). I was also prescribed Rozuvas F5 to treat my high triglycerides and low HDL. The BP medicine helped in bringing my BP from 150/100 to 120/80 and even lower. Also, my triglycerides went down from 350-400 to 100-110 in a few months of taking the medicine. However, the constant and irritating chest heaviness stayed as before. So, finally, I went through Coronary Angiogram also in Mar 2022, to rule out any blockage in my blood vessels; the report was negative. I also went through Gastro Endoscopy to find out if gas was causing the chest heaviness, but it was not the case either. The endoscopy indicated H Pylori infection my stomach, and I took treatment to clear the infection, but my chest heaviness was still there.
So I decided to change my Cardiologist; and based on one of my friend's recommendation, met Dr KP Srihari in Sep 2022. He went through my complete medical history very patiently and explained me the treatment plan. He got some basic tests such as Echo, TMT and Lipid profile done for me and told me not to worry about the chest heaviness. He advised me to continue with the BP and Triglyceride medication, and to have an active and healthy lifestyle that includes daily exercise and yoga. Overall, I found the Doctor very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained me my condition without sugarcoating any fact, but at the same time ensured that I had a proper plan to help myself. During my multiple interactions with the Doctor, I always felt he was genuinely interested in improving patients health condition, and nothing else. I would highly recommend him to anyone having any heart related ailment(s).
