I visited Dr. LK Desai after suffering a lot, I visited top hospitals like Manipal but got no relief from eczema for many months even after taking so many medicines. After that, I visited Dr. Desai, he's very ************* * explained everything clearly, I started getting relief with the 1st dose itself.

He's really a gem, keep medicines to the bare minimum as required, doesn't call patients unnecessarily for frequent follow ups as other doctors do.

Last year, I suddenly found myself hit by an auto-immune disease called Pemphigus Vulgaris, out of nowhere. My skin started to get lesions and mouth had blisters and it was a scary and horrible moment. Fortunately, I found Dr. Desai who not only gave me the right treatment but also gave us moral support all the time. He runs his own institute and thus stays in pace with the latest happenings in the world of dermatology. He gives his patients enough information in order to help them make informed decisions. He told me that Rituximab is a magic bullet for PV but its a new new medicine and he had very less practical experience about it. We appreciated his honest discussions and took the decision to go ahead with Rituximab infusions after more study and exploration. It has been a year and I am lesion free, medicine free and Dr. Desai is like a god-send friend to our family. We need many more such professional and humane doctors around.
