Ms. Kinjal Gala (Physiotherapist)

My wife had pain in left shoulder and turning back left hand. Initially, she ignored the problem. But one day, due to unbearable pain, she had to leave her office mid- day. We first approached orthopaedic surgeon who ruled out fracture and asked us to take help of physiotherapist. After searching on website, we found Dr.Kinjal Sanghavi in Matunga. She first allowed patient, my wife, to explain the problem. After understanding the same, she asked her to do certain shoulder movements. Initially starting with small movements and later moving on to difficult ones, spread over various sessions,the shoulder problem was gone and let us go by continuing the exercise for next 6 weeks. Each session was around an hour long where there was active involvement of said doctor by self demonstration and ensuring correct posture of doing exercise. The best part was when there were restrictions due to covid19, she continued her weekly consultation online on WhatsApp video so as to maintain continuity of treatment, which is very vital in such cases. After 5 sessions, each

lasting one hour, wife is relieved of shoulder pain. Doctor's uninterrupted involvement while carrying out hour long session and involvement in helping patient understand the style of doing exercise/ movements is what impressed us the most.

My friend referred me to consult Dr. Kinjal Gala for my lower back injury. Dr. Kinjal examined my back very carefully. She listens to all the concerns of the patient and keeps an attention to detail in process of consultation. I recovered from my back injury in 3-4 weeks by following the guidelines of her. There is lot of empathy she creates during the consultation process and there is an immediate connect that she develops with the patient which is the best part of her. Extremely fun loving and grounded person and gets along with the patient.

Dr.Kinjal is very gentle and soft spoken person as she really understand the problem in details and then come to the curing and recommendations part. Recently had a severe pain in neck and shoulder since 10 days, and I had visited her for the same. Se understood the problem very well and her recommendation and prescription of Practo pain relief helped me cute my problem in 2 to 3 days. I am very much thankful to Dr.Kinjal Gala for the same. Appreciate her efforts by telephonic following up with the patient after the consultancy is done.

I have taken physiotherapy sessions from Kinjal for roughly around 4 months (8-9 sessions) for my back injury. I was impressed by her approach towards diagnosing and implementing exercises to my schedule. She has programmed my exercises very nicely and aptly as per my requirements. She listens to your concerns calmly and gives proper suggestions and recommendations. One of the very good habit of her is writing / drawing exercises which she has taught - which is very useful.
