Dr. Suhas Vidyadhar Abhyankar

Dr Suhas Abhyankar is a Plastic and Aesthetic surgeon, who did his graduation and further training from Grant Medical College, Mumbai.Thereafter he worked in the Plastic surgery departments of Seth G.S Medical College (KEM Hospital), LTMG (Sion Hospital), and TNMC (Nair Hospital), presently he is Head of Department of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery at Dr R.N. Cooper Hospital. He firmly believes that Reconstructive surgery is the base for Aesthetic or Cosmetic surgery. He’s consultant paediatric plastic consult at BJ Wadia Children’s Hospital in Patel, Mumbai and Professor & Head of Departmental at Dr DY Patil Medical College in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. He is a University teacher for MCh Plastic Surgery and also practising and involved in the treatment of Burns at Masina, Eric Kharas memorial Hospital and Research Centre Byculla, Mumbai.He is active Rotarian of Shivaji Park Dist 3140 and has been involved in social work in economically backward areas of India. He has performed the number of surgeries on cleft lip palate patients at surgical camps organised by Impact India Foundation that is Lifeline Express Project and involved in Leprosy Reconstructive programme of Gujarat Government.Dr Abhyankar has also started a foot assessment clinic mainly for diabetic patients, athletes and patients with trauma at Masina Hospital. Similarly, instrumental in starting Masina skin bank and is the charge himself, which is the first skin bank in South Mumbai. It is the only skin bank across the private sector in Mumbai.
