I visited Dr.Sonawalla after visiting 4-5 Psychiatrist and Psychologist and having exhausted most of my savings at a time when I was going through the most difficult phase of my life. I have never experienced such intense Anxiety and Depression & Regular headaches, due to low self-esteem, work stress and pressure which made it worse. I never imagined my life to be in a situation where simple things like talking to friends & family, getting up from my bed and leaving home for work or even talking to my colleagues at work would seem like a big challenge due to constant negative overthinking. Every day seemed like the most unpleasant dream and I started having suicidal thoughts since it would be the best option to end this chaos since there was no support system for me emotionally and financially.
However, I thought of giving it another chance with Dr. Sonawalla. I first visited her in Feb 2019. I had taken medications previously and was never satisfied with the results because they were not having much effect on my health, nonetheless, when I met Dr.Sonawalla, she patiently listened to me and was very empathic towards my experiences although I was a bit hyperactive back then and was struggling with words and explaining her my condition. She advised me to give her at least a year and that her prescriptions will definitely improve my condition.
I waited patiently since I had no other option and after 2-3 months I felt a difference in my health and overall mood and personality, it felt like a breath of new life. I independently started with CBT, Yoga & Mindfulness meditation after that and it started having a positive impact coupled with her medications.
Looking back and comparing my life back then, I can confidently say that the quality of my life has drastically improved and I firmly believe that God did send Dr. Sonawalla as an angel into my life and I can never thank her enough for all the changes that have come into my life for which I will be forever grateful. She is always in my prayers for the generosity she exhibits and the efforts she put in emotionally just as a mother would for her child.

Visited For Anxiety And Depression
I want to tell you a story. A story of my struggle with depression and hope it helps others going through it and let them know they are not alone.
A lot of incidents in my life like accidents, financial failure, daughter’s health, and many other incidents got the better of me and one day 10 years ago, I had my first attack; like I would not
breath, shaky, dizzy, chest pain, sadness, hopelessness, life’s everyday tasks were difficult to handle and I would cry for no reason at all.
My family was very supportive but they also did not know how to deal with me. I was afraid of taking anti-depressant tablets because everyone told me it will have side effects. I tried many
alternative therapies, it would calm me for that time and then it would start again. In the end I felt I can’t carry on and so many negative thoughts would come my way. Then one fine day I realised I had to go to the psychiatrist and that is how I came to Dr. Shamsah Sonawalla at her TransMag Clinic. That day I felt I have come to the right place. She was calm, pleasant, patient and not judgmental. I felt I can be myself. She started me on small doses for my anxiety and depression. From then on I went for regular checkups and today I cant tell how I feel, I found a new life worth living. I thank her from the bottom of my heart. This is to just tell others who are suffering with depression and anxiety to take help from a doctor as you cant fight it alone.
