Dr. Shamsah Sonawalla is Associate Director of Psychiatry Research and Consultant Psychiatrist at the Jaslok Hospital and Research Center, Mumbai; founder, TransMag Well-Being Clinic, Mumbai, and former Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, Boston, U.S.A. and Duke University Medical Center, U.S.A. Dr. Sonawalla is a practicing psychiatrist for over 20 years, and has a rich and extensive clinical and research experience in this field across India and the United States. At Harvard, she did pioneering work in depression and received several prestigious awards for the same, including the NARSAD Young Investigator Award.
