Dr. Tarun Jain

Dr Tarun Jain is a renowned Urologist practising in Central and South Mumbai. He did his medical graduation from renowned Nair Hospital. He then went on to pursue his post-graduation in surgery again at Nair Hospital where is journey in the field of surgery started. He always had an astute clinical mind and a stable surgical hand, indeed a rare combination. He was fascinated with the amazing and quick results of endoscopic procedure and the fact that the patients showed very quick recovery. He then went on to do his doctorate in Urology under the mentorship of Dr Hemant Pathak and Dr Mukund Andankar. He also trained himself in andrology at Dr Rupin Shah’s Clinic. He had a short fellowship in Uro-oncology in TATA Hospital where he trained himself to deal with malignancies of kidney, bladder and prostate. He accomplished fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery and was conferred this degree from Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India.His keen interest in academics took him to his Alma matar that is Nair Hospital where initially he joined as a lecturer and went on to become an Associate Professor. At a very young age his hard work and clinical knowledge made him a good teacher and was conferred with MCI recognized guide and teacher.He has been conferred MRCS degree by Royal college of Surgeon (UK).He specialises in Minimal Access treatment of Stones and Prostate with Laser and has been a Pioneer in the same.
