I visited Dr. Sanjay Pande for my mother in March, April 2026, who started having Urine related issues. From the hospital where she was treated other illness, the urologist from that hospital advised to carry out UDS test at any of the hospital like Kokilaben, Hinduja , Leelavati etc. As I had visited Dr Sanjay Pande earlier for my dad's treatment some years back, I chose Kokilaben hospital where Dr. Sanjay Pande was heading the urologist dept.

When we met him, he saw my mother and her reports and immediately said no UDS test is required and he will treat my mother with medicines and she will be fine. This saved me from paying a high cost test (UDS).

He explained patiently how we will go about and prescribed medicines and called us after 3 weeks and advised to remove the catheter in the morning and see him in the evening. We followed the instructions. The catheter was removed and my mother could pass urine with ease. In the evening we met the him. Before meeting him, residual test was done in the same place and the results were encouraging. He prescribed couple of other medicines to keep my mother away from infection etc. We continue to follow up with him to completely get my mother healed.

First of all, Dr. Sanjay Pandey makes you feel your problem is not uncommon. Secondly, he explains the problem and corrective action with examples and brief case studies. Third and most important factor of his conversation is the subtle humour that he brings in for the patient to feel light about the operative and post-operative stages of the correction. Through his vast experience he is able to connect with other possible issues associated with the urological/penile disorders. He is so thorough that his preparation for the surgery is clock-work-precision; his post-operative advices are easy to follow.

Dr Sanjay Pandey might be a good urologist but he and his staff at Kokilaben are quite apathetic towards their patients. We went to him three times and they kept us waiting for more than three hours each time saying that the doctor was in OT and his expected time of arrival couldn’t be confirmed. They were not only rude but also had no value for patient’s time and inconvenience. I’m sure the doctor is well aware of this fact and the least he can do is as his staff not to book appointment for consultation if he has a surgery to perform on the same day at the same time ****** ** *** **** ******** * ******. But then it’s Kokilaben, how could they not take an appointment as Patient’s inconvenience is the last think that comes to their mind.

But getting through to Call Center for an appointment at KDAHvis a pain. It took me 2 days of constant ringing thr phone to get to the call center person for appointment.
