Dr. Samantha Castellino

Dr. Samantha is my child's pediatrician since day1. Her approach to counselling at every consultation/visit has been right on spot - that it covers almost all my doubts without even having to ask her first.

She had always been very approachable and that made me instantly comfortable with her, being a new mom myself!! She is extremely patient towards all the trivial worries / questions we have as new parents as well as very systematic in explaining any concept or clarifying our doubts.

She has always been prompt at consultations over phone and even though I have to travel for over an hour sometimes to get to Surya hospital.. I definitely feel seeing her for my child is worth it.

Dr Samantha is a fantastic doctor. My wife and I have had 2 babies at Surya hospital and Dr Samantha was there as our main Pediatrician for both the births. We couldn’t be happier or more confident to have her caring for our 2 sons. She takes the time to explain things thoroughly and has a very calm and practical approach. After the birth of our second son when we went to her for a routine visit. We took both our kids aged 0 (newborn ) and 2.5 years old. The check up was for the newborn which she completed and then took the time to explain to our toddler all her equipment and teach him how to use the reflex hammer and stethoscopes etc. He’s a big fan of Dr’s now which is a great sign for us 😀 We would recommend her 100%

Dr. Samantha is the paed for a number of our friends’ children, and has been seeing our infant son since birth. She has provided the standard care — evaluating for development milestones and administering vaccinations — and has also gone the extra mile and responded when we had concerns (e.g. fever when we were on vacation, jaundice). She provides patient, evidence-based treatment with explanations behind her recommendations (e.g. explaining difference between vaccination options) and is incredibly kind and respectful in her bedside manner. My wife and I can only highly recommend her.

We have been consulting Dr Samantha right from the birth of my 10 month old baby.

Even after being extremely busy she is not in a hurry to complete the consultation. In fact she dedicates a lot of time to examine the baby and answer our long list of questions. Trust me as first time parents, one generally has a lot of questions and it is very comforting when the doctor answers all questions very patiently.

She doesn’t believe in over medication and prescribes medicines only if required.

Dr Samantha is very well versed with the process of transiting your baby from breast feeding to solids and she guides you at every step during the transition.

She is extremely gentle when it comes to vaccination.

We are consulting Dr Samantha for our baby right from her birth . We love going to her and our baby’s all smiles at the appointments even for vaccinations and she’s only 9months . Glad we met Dr Samantha and we had to move cities but Dr has always been available .

As new parents you fear almost every small thing the baby’s doing and you need the right guidance with a great attitude , Dr Samantha has been there for that and our baby n we are lucky to have her around . Highly recommend you meet the doctor you will be a happy parent with a happy child .

Its been 2 years since we have consulted with Dr Samantha, right from time my daughter was born. She was referred to me by my close friend, and I m glad that I chose her. We feel at ease when we visit Dr Samantha as she not just addresses the issue at hand, but also pushes us to ask more questions and even advices on things to look out for in the future. She reverts instantly on messages if we text her late nights or for any SOS situations. She is very gentle on vaccinations and connects very well with our daughter. Her approach and methods show that she is very experienced and qualified for this role. Overall we are extremely satisfied and grateful to have our child in the safe hands of Dr Samantha.

We consult Dr Samantha for my 2 year old son since he was born. We have always experienced perfect diagnosis and treatment from her whenever my son faced illnesses related wheasing fevers skin allergies... She has never suggested unnecessary medications or tests.

She guided us through the 2 years on my son's food habits, vaccine schedules, speech development, walking etc.

We are extremely satisfied with this association. And yes she is always available in case of medical advise required in urgency..

It's been Seven yrs now since we have been consulting Dr. Samantha. Right from her 5 month's vaccination to various virals and multiple stomach bugs, Dr. Samantha has not only excelled in her profesional guidance, she has been able to connect with the child and the parent simultaneously. Handling a mile long queries of panic parents and at the same time calming the child smoothly. My daughter loves interacting with her and moreover listens to her diligently. What else can I ask for...? Thank you Doctor for your patience and out of way guidance whenever required.

We visited doctor first when my daughter was 7 days old for the high bilirubin. She had to be hospitalised for a day and a half and since then it’s never been any other doctor. I consider her one of those rare doctor who is an empath as well. She asks right questions with utmost patience and understanding. All my interactions with her she’d guide to make kids eat healthy food and avoid medicines. She is never in a rush but rather focuses on knowing the child’s psychological and physiological aspect before prescribing medication.

D4U is the term I use for Dr. Samantha . My son from 3 years of age and every 2 months use to suffer from stomach ache and loose motions. We did all types of test and medicines with other paediatric until we were referred to dr . Samantha by my cousin after a year . Doctor patiently with her experience diagnosed the issue of lactose intolerance and treated him for 6 months now my son is 5 years old touchwood om is without any issues . Best thing about the doctor is she gives you time , understand the issues from parent And child. I would recommended her without any ifs and buts for all parents .
