One of worst experience ever. We met the doctor at Jaslock Hospital for my mom.He checked the patient and asked us to get an ultra sonography done on the 3rd floor of the hospital and that once it's done he asked us to inform him and he would see the scan and advise us the treatment.Once the scan was done, I went to his consultancy room to check for him. I was told he has left for home.On calling him to remind about the patient, he said he forgot that he had sent the patient to get the scan done. We were waiting at the hospital for 2 hours without any advise for the line of treatment to be followed. I got the radiologist call him and explain the readings of the scan and he prescribed the medicine on the phone.
Next day my mom developed fever and I happen to call him to let him know that my mom is absolutely restless and there is no improvement in her health. To which he rudely replied and asked me to show some other Doctor and said that the problem could be related to her bowels when there was no such complaint. Finally after wasting 2 days of dilly dallying we consulted some other Doctor and the problem got resolved. It was a severe Urinary Tract Infection which had spread. We were charged Rs. 2500/- for such a visit which will never be forgotten.
