I had been struggling with vertigo and imbalance since June 2023. Despite consulting multiple specialists—ENTs, orthopedists, physiotherapists, and even trying acupressure—the episodes persisted. While some treatments provided temporary relief, the symptoms never fully subsided. In February 2024, my vertigo worsened again, leading me to finally consult a neurologist, who diagnosed me with BPPV. Though the spinning reduced with treatment, I started experiencing severe anxiety, restlessness, and a fear of being alone, likely due to the prolonged distress and late diagnosis.

In June 2024, I decided to consult Dr. Milan Balakrishnan, and I truly feel I got into the right hands. His treatment and guidance have helped me immensely, not just in managing my anxiety but in regaining my confidence and sense of normalcy. Now, in February 2025, I feel much better and am gradually returning to my everyday life. Dr. Balakrishnan’s expertise, patience, and compassionate approach have been instrumental in my recovery, and I highly recommend him to anyone struggling with similar issues.

He only told me.to tapper doses and stop.medicine as it is of no use once u r alright. But later on he was rather reluctant in consulting.n tod to each another dr.near by. I tried n changed 5 dr.but was not satisfied.same thing use to happened.when I use to get depression attack like that of dipika .It took 3yrs to come out of it.other dr.said that u cannot leave the drugs but we can reduce it. Mine was clinical depression happened due to little excess dose.of medicine which no dr.able to notice it.i only came to know while tapering my doses.dr.should study such things to treat the patient for early results.

He will listn to ur problem and then will try to explain it to u so that patient should have any ambiguity abt his/her illness...

Later advice u do's n don't during/after treatment...

I have a grt n effective experience....

Many times he also help me remotely(by call/sms)

Many doctors which I visited before.. some have no time to listen or analysis problem and some don't receive call(even if emergency) n some r only available on selected days...

Dr. Milan taught me how to be happy again. If i am smiling now and happy in my life its all because of his help. He is the true example of a doctor. How he listens, how he speaks is all really appreciable. He also goes about the treatment very systematically. Thank you doctor!😊

I went to sir for anxiety attacks. He patiently listened to my problem and gave medical treatment plus advised me breathing exercise. The treatment helped me alot to overcome my problem. I would suggest anyone with symptoms relating to mind problems to visit him!

The experience was really good...the doctor listened to my problems carefully....took neat and extensive history of my condition...waited patiently till i told him everythng...he also gave treatment which was required and necessary...the treatment he gave was very effective and helped me a lot.

Extremely good doctor. Explained the exact problem to me step wise, and spent enough time on me, was in no hurry. Also, gave assurance of the problem not being as scary as anyone with a mental health issue would imagine. Helped another friend recover too whom i referred him to. Highly recommend him.

Firt time we met Dr. Milan Balachandran on 30 Nov 2016. He was recommended by our GP Dr. Rajesh Sheth. Met Dr. Mlan at Bombay Hospital.

Since then we met him 4 times. All times he was found to be encouraging to patient my wife, Usha Dalal and contiuously available for advise on phone and SMS . This gives comfort to patient.

We had last meeting on 30 Jan 2017 and prescribed medicines for 20 days and advised Usha Dalal will be OK within this period viz by 20 Feb 2017. She will be bubbly, as she used to be. Her problems have been elaborated earlier.

Last we met on 21 Jan and since then Usha has a good response and found about 10 to 15% improvement.

We have committed to him for health care and hope to have Usha normal by 20 February 17.

We would like to recommend him who suffers from such mental problem.

the doctor was totally disinterested with his phone ringing all the time and he kept answering calls. ** ****** **** **** *** ******** ** *** * ****** I was with someone already battling anxiety and depression - and this session did absolutely nothing to help her. ** **** ** ******* ********** *** ******* *** **** **** ****** *** **** *** ******* ***** **** All he said were a few monosyllables. also the appointment wasn't at bombay hospital but at his clinic nearby - we were not informed about the same.
