Dr. Vidyashankar Communicated very well and ensured thst we..as parents understood the case. He also showed us the zoomed pictures of the eye on the screen and explained the procedure in detail.

His calm and confident mannner gave us a lot of confidence and comfort.

We had visited two other doctors at Mumbais leading eye hospitals. Both recommended the operation including excsision from the cornea but warned that this will lead to the child having to use spectacles. Dr Vidyashankar afvised a two phase approach wherein only above the surface will be removed and go in for phase 2 after 2 to 4 years after the cornea shape has stabiliised.

This approach and his demeanour made us opt for the procedure with him evrn though other reputed places were 30 % cheaper.
