Dr. Ajit Dandekar

**** ******* Very frank and Honest! He is a very keen listener, he listens very patiently. He is very profesional.My dad was undergoing treatment from other psychiatrist for depression and psychosis since the last 1 year. We consulted Dr. Dandekar yesterday for the first time. Dr. Dandekar told us clearly about my dads condition and also was very postive about the treatment. To the point prescription and also told us not to worry! He also told us that my dad will be alright and he advised us just to have patience.

Feeling good after taking medicines. Which is increasing my Confidence and observation. Thanks to Dr. Dandekar

I had gone for consult for my daughter. Post a very basic and rushed conversation, he prescribed medications without explaining the diagnosis to me (being a parent I had to know what his evaluation and recommended course of action was). As it was his last appointment for the day, he was in a hurry to rush out.

Being confused around the medications and why they were prescribed, I decided to ask my follow up questions on call. First, I struggled to find his contact number - his clinic number was invalid. After much effort, I finally got his mobile number from hospital staff. When I called the doctor (after mere 2 hours of the appointment), he was rude and refused to explain the diagnosis and asked to come again with appointment as I was disturbing his rest time.

Would expect the doctor to be more empathetic, given his specialty of mental health and that he is the head of this department!

All in all, a bad experience. Would not want my daughter to be treated by this doctor.

Doc was not interested. I was expecting more genuineness. He suggested the same medicine as prescribed by the earlier doctor. I will visit another doctor and not from nanavati. Not satisfied. My mistake to consult Sh. Dandekar. Will not repeat.

First of all we liked the politeness of doctor. His way of talking to patients . We both actually liked the doctor very much Because of his friendliness

I don't think he even looked at me. And his talk was not compassionate to psychiatric patient like me.

We literally felt as if we are meeting a Dean, HOD or a final authority in the subject! The doctor's advice, diagnosis, counseling, and treatment were very very result yielding, just in less than 2 months. Experience par excellence!
