Rehab World Physiotherapy Clinic was started by Dr. Swapna Munagekar (PT) in 2013.She has over 18+ years of experience in the field of Physiotherapy treating patients hands-on. She has worked with various clinical setups over the years. Prior to starting Rehab World, she was attached with MGM College of Physiotherapy and Hospital, Navi Mumbai as Lecturer and Clinician.GOALAt Rehab World, we try to make patients as independent from the physiotherapist as possible.APPROACHTo achieve this goal, the treatment approach is predominantly exercise-based. These exercises once taught can be repeated by patients without physiotherapist’s supervision.Emphasis is placed on making necessary ergonomic changes in day-to-day living to reduce the cause of patient's ailments.RESULTSDue to this approach majority of the patients get better within 3 to 5 sessions.The treatment protocol, if followed correctly, prevents future recurrence of the same problem.
