Paraplegic Foundation, Sion East

Paraplegic Foundation was started in 1968 by a group of doctors and social workers, in the barracks of LTMG Hospital located at Sion, Mumbai. It's aim is to rehabilitate and provide total health care facilities for perons having neurological and orthopedic disability. It has expanded its facilities in various aspects, one among them being the Health Harmony department. Health Harmony department consists of 25 bedded ward and physiotherapy OPD facility. Professionals like physician, urologist, yoga trainer, social worker and counsellor are also available for the ward patients. This department provides physiotherapy treatment for ward and OPD patients at nominal charges.
